The ADVANTECH float switch is a simple way to prevent your reverse osmosis water tank from overflowing. It connects to an electrical outlet and the device you want to control, for example, a pump or alarm. As the tank level goes up or down, it floats on top of the liquid surface and acts as a shut-off switch.
