The US Water Backwashing Greensand Plus Filter is designed to remove iron, manganese and small amounts of sulfur from the water supply with the manganese dioxide based greensand plus. It is recommended that a continuous feed of chlorine or potassium permanganate be used to keep the media activated.

Specifications

Remember: In order to get proper filtration, you need prolonged contact with the Greensand Plus. Therefore, its better to oversize the filter than undersize it. You should base your flow rate on the continuous flow, not the maximum flow.
