The Swift Green SGF-W31 Refrigerator Filter is made of eco-friendly coconut shell carbon block media. These cartridges are easy to change and replace with their quick change design. The SGF-W31 reduces sediment, dirt & rust, chlorine taste & odor, as well as contaminants such as Lead, Cysts, Turbidity, Asbestos, Atrazine & Mercury by up to 95%. Swift Green SGF-W31 refrigerator filters should be changed once every six months and have a capacity of 300 gallons. This cartridge has been certified to NSF Standard 42.
