The media used in 3M’s CFS9000H Series cartridge filters sediment and particulates that may be in the water. The 3M Water Filtration CFS9112H-SK retrofit water filter cartridge for the Hoshizaki filter system features a premium carbon block that reduces particulate & chlorine taste and odor from the incoming water. This water filter cartridge also contains an antimicrobial agent that inhibits bacteria growth within the filter media. You’ll also come to find that it includes scale inhibition media to help reduce scale build-up on evaporator plates. Since this cartridge is a direct replacement of the Hoshizaki 4HC-H cartridge, you’ll find how easy everything matches up.
