AquaCera ceramic water filter elements start with the company’s Ceramic DE (diatomaceous earth) micro-filter. Advances in the ceramic filtration manufacturing process result in a more effective and efficient means of treating a wide range of waterborne contaminants. Ceramic elements are unique in that they are cleanable, when particulate build-up occurs on the surface, doubling the life of the filter as compared with other throw-away plastics. Ceramic elements are designed to remove suspended particles, they will not reduce TDS (Total Dissolved Solids).
