This combination of 2 lb KDF85 with coconut shell carbon allows for a large variety of reductions in the water from chlorine taste and odor. The KDF 85 Media is recommended for the reduction of chloramine, iron and hydrogen sulfide from municipal or other water supplies to the rated capacity of a specific filter cartridge.
