The Whirlpool EveryDrop EDR1RXD1 Ice & Water Refrigerator Filter 3 features triple filtration technology that is designed to reduce 24 contaminants from pharmaceuticals, lead, and industrial chemicals. The particle and micro filtration layers remove the large and medium size contaminants from the water, while the absorption filtration layer removes the microscopic contaminants.
This is a replacement filter for the Whirlpool W10295370A refrigerator. One EDR1RXD1 filter is equivalent to 1,500 water bottles, so it should be replaced every 6 months or 200 gallons to maximize contaminant reduction.
