Omnipure Inline K2348-BB Calcite Re-mineralizer – 6″ x 2″ Filter – 1/4″ FPT

The Omnipure K2348-BB Inline Calcite Filter has been designed to correct pH in filtered water. In recent years there has been all sorts of debates on how to get proper pH balance in drinking water. One of the easiest and affordable techniques is to use a calcite filter. Calcite is a finely crushed and screened white marble, which dissolves into the acidic water, neutralizes the pH, and raises TDS. The K2348-BB is quick and easy to add to an RO system.

Use Calcite only for pH levels 6.0 – 6.8. Use Calcite/Corosex for pH levels 5.5 – 6.0
Installation:

1. Before installation, threaded fittings must be wrapped with Teflon tape
2. Install Teflon taped fittings, and firmly tighten
3. Turn off the system and tank valve
4. Open faucet to relieve pressure, and close
5. Clip the line between the system and the drinking water faucet and flush for a few minutes, check for leaks

Replace cartridge when rated capacity is reached, or when flow becomes too slow.
