SharkBite® U140LF Lead-Free Brass Push-to-Connect Male Adapter – 1″ x 1″ MPT

The SharkBite® U140LF Push-to-Connect Brass Male Adapter is designed to join piping together without the need of soldering, glue, tape, or clamps. As you insert the pipe into this push-to-connect fitting the stainless-steel teeth clamp down tightly while the built-in O-ring compresses ensuring a leak-free seal. If the U140LF adapter needs to be disconnected simply slip the disconnect tool behind the collet firmly and the fitting will disconnect. Unlike many plumbing connectors, SharkBite® fittings can be rotated after assembly to make installation quick and easy. This adapter is ideal for transitioning between PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE pipe to a FPT connection.
