The
Stenner Antiscalant System is an auto-dosing system designed to periodically pump AXEON Membrane Antiscalant into commercial RO membranes. In areas where the feed water is hard, membranes can develop scale, which greatly reduces efficiency. The Stenner Antiscalant System regularly doses the membranes with antiscalant to ensure that they operate at maximum efficiency.
The AXEON S-200 is a substitute for pretreatment with ion exchange beds, and is effective in water containing high levels of metal oxides, silica and scale-forming minerals. The antiscalant enters the RO system directly in front of the membranes and then cleans the membranes as it is washed down the drain with the reject water. This system replaces the need for bulky softeners which take up space and require backwashing, potentially requiring users to shut down the system. The system comes pre-assembled, includes a 5 gallon bucket of AXEON S-200 Membrane Antiscalant, and is certified to NSF 61.
