These cartridges have an easy twist-off design that make them easy to replace. The SGF-LA22 reduces chlorine taste and odor, sediment, dirt, rust, and turbidity. Swift Green SGF-LA22 refrigerator filters should be changed once every six months and have a 2500 gallon capacity for chlorine. This cartridge has been industry certified to NSF standard 42 & 53. Replace the SGF-LA22 every 6 months.
